Terms of Service

Legal CRM · version 2026-10

These terms are an agreement between Legal CRM (“we”) and the law firm that creates a workspace (“the Firm”). The person who signs up confirms they may bind the Firm.

1. The service

A web application for managing client communication on WhatsApp, matters, hearings, tasks, documents and billing records. The Firm decides what data to put in and who in the Firm can see it.

2. Professional responsibility stays with the Firm

  • The service does not give legal advice. AI features suggest summaries, dates, parties, translations and drafts; a person at the Firm reviews and approves them.
  • The Firm is responsible for what it sends to clients, for its compliance with Bar Council of India rules, and for keeping client files for the periods its professional obligations require.
  • Court dates shown in the service come from the Firm’s entries or imports, labelled with their source. The Firm verifies dates against court records.

3. WhatsApp

Messaging uses Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform under Meta’s terms. The Firm connects its own WhatsApp Business account, is billed by Meta for message charges, and follows Meta’s messaging and opt-in policies. The service blocks messages that lack the required consent or fall outside WhatsApp’s rules, but the Firm remains responsible for its content.

4. Fees

The pilot is free for 30 days. Paid plans are invoiced in advance with GST, monthly or yearly, as shown on the pricing page at the time of the invoice. If an invoice is unpaid 7 days after the paid period ends, the workspace becomes read-only until payment; data stays available to view and export.

5. Data

The Firm owns its data. We process it only to provide the service, under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. Data is stored in India. The Firm can export everything at any time and can close its workspace; data is deleted 30 days after closing.

6. Acceptable use

No unlawful content, no bulk unsolicited promotional messaging, no attempts to access another firm’s data or to disrupt the service.

7. Availability and support

We aim for 99.5% monthly availability excluding scheduled maintenance, and respond to support requests on Indian working days. Status and incidents are published on our status page.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees the Firm paid us in that period, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and termination

We will give 30 days’ notice of material changes to these terms. Either party may end the agreement at the end of a paid period. On termination the Firm may export its data for 30 days.

10. Law and disputes

Indian law applies. Courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
